Max Manus on the train WW2 art

I did this artwork back in 2015 for the wonderful Drawn in her style at the time. It's a scene from a Norwegian movie called Max Manus. It takes place during the second world war.
Max Manus is a resistance fighter, and on a train he meets a bunch of germans who celebrate christmas. One of them offer him a drink and he in return a sigarett. He learns quickly they don't understand Norwegian and he begins poure his heart out to this German, that if he had understood had arrested him.

Max Manus knew he was a flawed man, and he did not look at the Germans as villains. He knew most of them simply was soldiers, and wondered sometimes what it had taken him to not be a resistance fighter, what if he had chosen the wrong side.
